Golf Coach / Assistant Golf Professional

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Golf Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in golf instruction and a commitment to enhancing the skills and enjoyment of our members and guests. This role involves educating players of all ages and skill levels, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting the game of golf through various programs and events.

Duties

• Provide high-quality golf instruction to individuals and groups, focusing on skill development and game improvement.
• Develop and implement engaging golf clinics, workshops, and junior programs to attract new players.
• Educate students on the fundamentals of golf, including swing mechanics, course management, and etiquette.
• Collaborate with other sports professionals to create cross-training opportunities that may include martial arts, basketball, cheerleading, or physical education activities.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests, ensuring their experience is enjoyable and fulfilling.
• Assist in organizing tournaments, events, and leagues that promote participation in the sport.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in golf instruction to continually improve teaching methods.

Experience

• Previous experience working with students of various ages in a coaching or instructional capacity is preferred.
• Familiarity with other sports or physical activities such as martial arts (including judo), basketball, or climbing can be beneficial.
• A background in childcare or youth education is advantageous for engaging younger participants effectively.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire players to reach their goals in golf.
• A passion for promoting health and wellness through sports is essential for success in this role.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
