Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily landscape maintenance operations across the golf course, including turf care, planting, fertilization, and pest control.
• Supervise and train maintenance staff to ensure efficient execution of tasks such as mowing, edging, aeration, and irrigation system management.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, chemical applications, and equipment inspections for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with the Superintendent to develop schedules that prioritize sustainability, environmental stewardship, and course playability.

Experience

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or landscaping with a focus on turf management on properties such as golf courses.
• Supervising experience leading teams of groundskeepers or maintenance staff in outdoor settings.
• Knowledge of lawn care techniques including mowing schedules, fertilization plans, aeration practices, and pest management.
• Familiarity with construction processes related to outdoor projects like bunker renovations or pathway installations.
• Skilled in tree care practices such as pruning, disease diagnosis, and safety assessments.
• Strong understanding of irrigation systems installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams while maintaining high standards of horticulture and landscape aesthetics.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
