Duties

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on golf course machinery including mowers, utility vehicles, and power equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics, electrical diagnostics, and equipment troubleshooting techniques
• Repair diesel engines, small engines, and heavy-duty power systems such as generators and power generation systems
• Conduct electrical work including wiring, soldering, electrical diagnostics, and system testing to ensure all equipment functions safely
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering irons to execute repairs accurately and efficiently
• Maintain detailed service records, repair logs, and maintenance schedules for all equipment
• Assist in the manual handling of heavy machinery parts during repairs or replacements to ensure safety standards are met

Requirements

• Proven dealership experience or service technician background with a strong foundation in automotive repair and equipment maintenance
• Extensive mechanical knowledge of engines (including diesel), electrical systems, hydraulic components, and mechanical systems repair
• Experience reading schematics and electrical diagrams for troubleshooting complex issues
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and other mechanical repair instruments
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks associated with equipment maintenance
• Knowledge of Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery brands is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and support staff during repairs
• Certification or experience in electrical diagnostics, small engine maintenance, or generator repair is preferred

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
