What they need

About Country Club and the new Championship Golf Course:

At Country Club Tasmania, we’re building something truly special — a new championship golf course designed to rival some of the world’s best.

Created by globally respected architect Robin Gibson, our new par 72, 18-hole Championship Course will be situated within a beautifully landscaped parkland precinct, inspired by some of the finest courses in North America and the UK. Make no mistake, what’s coming is a landmark in every sense of the word. It’s a course that rewards thoughtful play and invites golfers to return again and again.

Scheduled to open in Summer 2026/27, it will offer a visually stunning and challenging experience and we’re now looking for a motivated Golf Course Services Supervisor to help deliver on-ground operations to premium tournament standards.

What you can expect in a day in the role:

As Course Services Supervisor, you’ll lead the delivery of all on-ground golf operations, including cart fleet management and course readiness, ensuring a seamless, well-presented and efficient experience from arrival through to tee-off.

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Lead daily on-course operational readiness and coordination.

  • Oversee cart fleet preparation, allocation and maintenance.

  • Manage staging areas to ensure efficient player flow.

  • Supervise Golf Cart Attendants and allocate daily tasks.

  • Ensure presentation standards for carts and equipment.

  • Coordinate with Starter/Marshall on tee timing and readiness.

  • Work with Front Office Guest Services Team on guest arrival and staging requirements.

  • Liaise with Group Bookings, Front Office and Golf Operations team members to confirm group numbers, timing, cart requirements, bag drop arrangements and day-of-play changes.

  • Monitor operational efficiency and adjust resources as needed.

  • Oversee on-course Food & Beverage services and ensuring Responsible Service of Alcohol procedures are adhered to

What you’ll bring to the role:

Given the specialised nature of this role, you’ll bring strong experience coordinating daily operational service delivery in a golf, sport, recreation, hospitality or guest-facing environment. The successful candidate will also bring the following:

  • Sound practical knowledge of daily golf course service operations, including cart fleet readiness, bag drop, staging areas, tee-time flow and coordination with starters, marshalls, drinks cart staff and guest-facing teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to supervise, task and coach a small operational team to consistently deliver high-touch, personalised service aligned with a customer intimacy approach.

  • Working knowledge of safe operating procedures, presentation standards and resource coordination required to support efficient, compliant and well-presented course services.

As well as the following licences and qualifications:

  • Tasmanian recognised Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

  • Certificate IV in Leadership and Management, Certificate IV in Sport and Recreation, or another relevant qualification in supervision, sport, recreation, hospitality or operations is desirable.

An appointee to this role may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks.

What you can expect from us:

Country Club Tasmania is a proud part of Federal Hospitality (including Wrest Point, Saffire, and Macq01 to name a few) and offers:

  • Free parking onsite and fully laundered and tailored staff uniform

  • Free meal on every shift from our onsite staff canteen

  • Staff discounts across Federal Hospitality properties

  • Access to hundreds of discounts across many brands, helping you save on everyday expenses, including phone bills, fuel and groceries, fashion, restaurants, and entertainment

  • Supportive work environment with learning and development opportunities
