Duties

• Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros.
• Prepare and serve a variety of snacks, drinks, and light meals, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Manage cash register operations, process retail sales transactions, and handle cash handling with accuracy.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
• Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing counters, equipment, and dining areas regularly in compliance with food safety standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely for food preparation tasks while adhering to sanitation and food handling protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels of supplies and restock items as needed to ensure smooth service flow.

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or café environments with strong food handling skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros for efficient order processing and sales management.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash transactions and inventory management.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper kitchen equipment operation.
• Previous retail or grocery store experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in customer interactions and sales techniques.

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
