Golf Services Manager

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Enforce all rules and regulations governing golf course usage and ensure that the Warden / Starter team effectively and efficiently monitors the disciplines and the safety of both golf courses in accordance with the adopted policies, rules and practices.
• Administer the facilities and services of the driving range, cart centre and the hire centre in an effective, efficient and safe manner in line with adopted policies, rules and practices in order to achieve business targets and customer satisfaction.
• Provide effective and efficient support services to the Head of Golf Operations in the organisation of golf competitions for generating more revenue and for enhancing the Golf Course image.
• Enhance the Golf Course’s overall customer journey management capability and capture data across all key touch-points of the business in order to provide a high level of service and exceptional golf experience.
• Develop standard operating procedures, establish quality customer service standards and ensure the staff of the Golf Services Department provide quality customer service, uphold integrity and fairness, and maintain good morale.
• Monitor the bag carrier service to ensure that all bag carriers would serve golfers properly with good manner to the satisfaction of customers, through effective and efficient recruitment.
• Provide effective customer service, golf etiquette, workplace health and safety, and company-wide training to all Golf Services staff, including both new team members and experienced employees.
• Assist in the delivery of scheduled Tournaments alongside marketing, Instruction Centre and Golf Course Maintenance department.
• Where applicable, assist the Head of Golf Operations to schedule, supervise and direct the long range capital improvements to the course and facilities; including but not limited to putting greens, driving range and golf cart operations.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in customer services and administration, preferably in leisure or golf industry, with at least 5 years’ in administrative & operational management capacity.
• Possess good knowledge and understanding of golf rules and etiquette.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with positive and service-oriented mindset.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Valid Hong Kong driving license is mandatory.
