Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards, addressing issues promptly or escalating as necessary
• Assist with general facilities maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, fixing minor repairs, and ensuring equipment is in good working order
• Follow established cleaning procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Maintain cleanliness of cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored properly and used efficiently
• Document completed tasks, report any significant maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisors, and keep accurate records of activities performed
• Support team members during special cleaning projects or facility upgrades to ensure minimal disruption

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance roles
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks such as fixing minor repairs or replacing fixtures
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
• Good communication skills for reporting issues clearly and working effectively within a team
• Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining a proactive approach to daily responsibilities
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve standing, bending, lifting, or moving equipment for extended periods
