Goods Receiving Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Receiving Supervisor is responsible for managing incoming stock, checking product quality and quantity, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring proper storage. This role also leads and trains the Receiving team to ensure smooth daily operations at Pasar Besar.

Key Responsibilities

• Check incoming goods against purchase orders and supplier invoices.

• Inspect products for correct quantity, damage, and expiry dates.

• Record received goods accurately in the system and report any stock discrepancies.

• Coordinate with Merchandising and Operations teams on stock issues, damaged goods, and returns.

• Maintain proper stock records and prepare receiving reports.

• Ensure goods are stored correctly and follow FIFO/FEFO stock rotation methods.

• Keep storage areas, chillers, and freezers clean, organized, and safe.

• Monitor near-expiry, slow-moving, and excess stock.

• Lead, assign tasks to, and train Receiving Assistants.

• Ensure all receiving activities follow company procedures, food safety, and hygiene standards.

• Perform other operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in receiving, warehouse, logistics, retail, or F&B.

• Basic knowledge of stock control and inventory management.

• Able to lead a team and train staff.

• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Familiar with inventory systems or POS systems.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work under pressure, especially during busy delivery periods.

Pay: Up to RM2,500.00 per month
