We are seeking an experienced and engaging Google Workspace Trainer to drive seamless cloud adoption, system setup, and end-user enablement across our organization. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical administration and change management—configuring secure Workspace environments, delivering interactive learning sessions, and empowering teams to leverage Google Workspace and Gemini AI to their fullest potential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. System Administration, Setup & Governance
- Audit and optimize Google Workspace Admin Consoles to ensure optimal organizational structure, security policies, and operational efficiency.
- Manage user lifecycle provisioning, license allocation, organizational units (OUs), and Shared Drive permissions.
- Configure and maintain domain security standards and authentication protocols, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, to safeguard email deliverability and data integrity.
- Establish best practices for data storage, sharing settings, and access management across Google Drive and Shared Drives.
2. Curriculum Design & Training Delivery
- Design, develop, and update role-specific training curricula, user guides, and reference materials for Google Workspace applications (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, and Meet).
- Facilitate engaging live interactive workshops, webinars, and hands-on training sessions for both remote and on-site audiences.
- Build custom workflow automation guides and productivity shortcuts tailored to specific departmental needs (e.g., HR, Sales, Education, Operations).
- Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback loops, assessments, and usage analytics to continually refine learning programs.
3. Change Management & User Adoption
- Serve as an empathetic champion for digital transformation, guiding tech-resistant staff, educators, and executive leadership through transitions from legacy platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, on-prem servers) to Google Workspace.
- Develop change management plans, communication roadmaps, and quick-reference toolkits to minimize friction and alleviate operational downtime during rollouts.
- Establish a "Workspace Champions" network or office-hours program to provide ongoing support and localized peer guidance.
4. AI & Advanced Product Adoption
- Drive awareness and practical application of emerging Google Workspace innovations, with a focus on Gemini for Google Workspace .
- Deliver specialized training on prompt engineering, automated drafting, data analysis, and AI-assisted workflow integration using Gemini in Docs, Sheets, Gmail, and Slides.
- Stay up to date with Google Workspace product roadmaps, features, and security updates, translating new capabilities into actionable user training.
