We partner with organizations to elect leaders who fight for accessible healthcare, public education, and strong working families. We are actively recruiting passionate, dependable Paid Canvassers for an intensive door-to-door field operation across Johnson County and Scott County, focused on connecting with voters ahead of the November 3 election.

Key Responsibilities

Direct Voter Contact: Knock on assigned residential doors to engage voters in direct, meaningful conversations about the upcoming November 3rd election.

Voter Identification & GOTV: Identify supporters, collect survey responses regarding priority issues, register eligible voters, and assist with Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) mobilization efforts.

Data Logging: Accurately record voter feedback, contact status, and survey results using mobile campaign applications in real time.

Team Participation: Attend shift briefings, complete safety and strategy training sessions, and coordinate with the canvassing director.

Compensation & Perks

Guaranteed Hourly Wage: $22.00/hour, paid weekly for all training and shift hours

Flexible Schedules: Shift options designed to accommodate students, shift workers, and part-time campaign staff (minimum 16 hours/week).

Mileage Reimbursement: Gas cards to be distributed for shifts requiring driving more than 10 miles from staging location.

Qualifications & Requirements

Alignment with Mission: Strong commitment to progressive values and supporting Democratic candidates.

Communication Skills: Comfort speaking with community members at their doors and articulating issue positions clearly and respectfully.

Reliability: Ability to maintain scheduled shift times and navigate local neighborhoods using a smartphone.

Mobility & Outdoor Work: Ability to walk several miles per shift outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Transportation: Access to reliable personal transportation to reach staging locations in Johnson County or Scott County is required.

Prior canvassing or campaign experience is a plus, but full paid training is provided!
