GovCon Technology Director, with Deltek Costpoint Experience

For our client, we are seeking a GovCon Technology Director, with Deltek Costpoint Experience to join the team of a leader in the Legal & Accounting space.

This role will lead complex project and program engagements supporting government contracting clients, with a strong emphasis on technology-enabled business transformation. The ideal candidate will guide teams through packaged software implementations, advise clients on process improvement, and help shape methodologies that align with the needs of the government contracting market. You will also partner closely with clients, technical project managers, and internal teams to deliver strong outcomes, identify new opportunities, and maintain exceptional service.

Location: Tewksbury, MA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $207,500 – $374,670 annually

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of projects and collaborate directly with clients to achieve objectives
• Utilize expert knowledge of SDLC to assist technical project managers
• Evaluate and implement packaged software solutions effectively
• Develop methodologies tailored to the government contracting industry
• Identify new business opportunities through market research and proposal participation
• Ensure exceptional client service across all interactions and projects
• Lead project teams, assigning responsibilities and managing daily activities
• Provide mentorship and performance coaching to team members and clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Management, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in financial and management consulting services
• Experience with Deltek/Costpoint implementation engagements
• Background working with commercial and federal clients
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Suite
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for client engagements
• CPA, PMP, or other relevant certification is a plus
