GP DOCTOR

About the role

Klinik Teratai Al-Fatih is seeking a dedicated and compassionate GP Doctor to join our healthcare team in Skudai, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in providing primary healthcare services to our diverse patient population. As a GP Doctor, you will be at the forefront of patient care, delivering comprehensive medical services, preventative care, and health management within our clinic setting. This position is essential to our mission of providing accessible, high-quality healthcare to the local community.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting thorough patient consultations and medical assessments to diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Performing physical examinations and interpreting clinical findings to develop appropriate treatment plans
• Prescribing medications and medical treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines and best practices
• Managing patient medical records and maintaining accurate, detailed documentation of all consultations and treatments
• Providing health education and preventative care advice to patients on lifestyle modifications, disease prevention, and wellness management
• Referring patients to specialist services when necessary and coordinating ongoing care with other healthcare providers
• Performing minor procedures and clinical interventions as required within a general practice setting
• Maintaining professional standards and ensuring compliance with medical regulations, ethical guidelines, and infection control protocols
• Building and maintaining strong doctor-patient relationships to ensure patient satisfaction and continuity of care
• Contributing to the overall functioning and development of the clinic through teamwork and collaboration with nursing and administrative staff

What we're looking for

• A Medical Degree (MD or equivalent qualification) from a recognised and accredited institution

• Full registration and licensure with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC)

• Strong clinical knowledge and competency in diagnosing and managing common medical conditions

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds

• Sound clinical judgment and the ability to make informed decisions in a busy primary care environment

• Commitment to continuing medical education and professional development

• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Malay and other local languages is advantageous

• A patient-centred approach to healthcare delivery with strong ethical standards

• Abel to work on weekend (Sunday only)
