GP practice Nurse

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our busy general practice team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated nurse who enjoys working in a patient-focused environment and wants to be part of a collaborative healthcare team.

About the Role

As a Practice Nurse, you will work closely with our GPs and practice team to provide high-quality clinical care to patients across all stages of life.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing clinical nursing care and health assessments
• Immunisations and vaccination clinics
• Chronic disease management and care plans
• Wound care and dressings
• Health promotion and preventative health activities
• Assisting GPs with procedures
• Performing clinical observations and ECGs
• Supporting patients with ongoing health management
• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
• Infection prevention and control
• Providing exceptional patient-centred care

About You

We are looking for a nurse who is:

• A Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with current AHPRA registration
• Experienced in, or interested in, general practice nursing
• Professional, compassionate and patient-focused
• Confident working both independently and as part of a team
• Well organised with excellent communication skills
• Committed to providing high-quality healthcare
• Comfortable using clinical computer systems

Previous general practice experience is highly regarded, but we are also open to nurses looking to transition into general practice.
