Grab Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting loads safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries across designated routes. Responsibilities

• Safely operate grab lorry to collect loads and disposal.
• Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery times and minimise fuel consumption.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, maintaining high standards of professionalism.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
• Secure loads properly to prevent movement or damage during transit.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption in accordance with company policies.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during driving duties.
• Assist with loading and unloading when necessary, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed.

Experience

• Proven experience as a grab driver.
• Strong driving skills with a clean driving record
• Experience with commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
• Prior delivery driver experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with route planning and cargo securement.
