Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

Overview:

POSITION SUMMARY: The Graded Exercise Technician attaches patients to electrocardiography machines and/or heart monitors to record electrocardiograms. Technician operates graded exercise stress monitoring equipment in order to provide data to physicians for use in diagnos¬ing and treating heart disorders/disease. In doing so, arranges equipment, gathers pertinent patient information, explains test procedure to patients, attaches leads and operates equipment.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Prior experience as an EKG Technician, Monitor Technician or EMT.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• EKG certification.
• Two years on the job experience in EKG interpretation.
