Grader Operator

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Grader Operator to join our construction company. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating motor graders to level, grade, and prepare surfaces for roads, foundations, drainage systems, and other construction works.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate motor graders safely and efficiently at construction sites.
• Perform grading, leveling, spreading, and finishing of soil, gravel, sand, and other materials.
• Prepare and maintain road surfaces, subgrades, shoulders, and construction areas according to project requirements.
• Follow site drawings, elevations, levels, and instructions from supervisors or site engineers.
• Ensure accurate slopes, grades, and levels as specified for the project.
• Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of the grader and report any defects or mechanical issues.
• Monitor machine performance and report maintenance requirements promptly.
• Coordinate with excavator operators, bulldozer operators, roller operators, truck drivers, surveyors, and site supervisors.
• Maintain safe operating distances from workers, vehicles, utilities, and other equipment.
• Carry out basic operator-level maintenance, including checking fluids, tires, and attachments.
• Keep the grader clean and in good operating condition.
• Follow all company, client, and construction-site safety procedures.
• Use required PPE and maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Motor Grader Operator in construction or civil engineering projects.
• Valid heavy equipment/operator license or certification, where required.
• Good knowledge of grader controls and operating techniques.
• Experience in road construction, earthworks, infrastructure, or site preparation is an advantage.
• Ability to understand basic site drawings, levels, and grading requirements.
• Basic knowledge of equipment inspection and maintenance.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to work outdoors in demanding construction-site conditions.

Working Conditions

• Full-time position at construction and civil works sites.
• Work may involve exposure to dust, noise, heat, and varying weather conditions.
• Flexible working hours and overtime may be required depending on project needs.
• Strict compliance with site safety rules and PPE requirements is mandatory.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
