Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grader Operator to join our dynamic team on major road projects. As a Grader Operator specializing in final trim operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the precision and quality of our construction work. This is an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and contribute to the development of infrastructure in a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate grader machinery with precision for final trim applications on major road projects.
• Utilize non-GPS CAT 14M/140 model machinery proficiently, ensuring high standards of safety and quality.
• Engage in occasional bulk earthworks operations, as required by project demands.
• Collaborate effectively with project teams, contributing to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
• Demonstrate expertise in Trimble/Topcon/CAT Grade GPS systems, enhancing operational efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety and operational protocols, upholding the company's commitment to workplace safety.
• Maintain machinery in optimal working condition, performing routine checks.
• Participate in the planning and execution of project tasks, ensuring alignment with project timelines and goals.
• Commit to a five-day work week, with flexibility for potential assignments requiring travel and extended stays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a confident final trim grader operator, with a track record of successful projects on main roads.
• Possession of a White Card and RII Grader Ticket is essential.
• Experience with non-GPS CAT 14M/140 model machinery or similar is essential.
• Knowledge of Trimble/Topcon/CAT Grade GPS systems is advantageous.
• Additional tickets such as excavator, dozer, or roller are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Valid Car License and reliable access to a vehicle for commuting to various project sites.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to adapt to varying project needs.
• Ability to provide recent Police Check or ability to apply for
• Ability to pass pre-employment functional assessment and drug & alcohol screening.
