Graduate Account Coordinator - Mining Services

About the Role

We are looking for an Account Coordinator to join Orica and support our customer accounts. This is a great opportunity for a fresh graduate or early-career professional with up to 2 years of experience who wants to build a career in a commercial or operational environment.

You will work closely with Account Business Managers and teams across Operations, Technical Services, Supply Chain and Finance. You will help coordinate customer requirements, maintain accurate information, prepare reports, support forecasting and contracts, and help ensure our customers receive reliable products and services.

The role will give you exposure to both the commercial and operational sides of the business and provide a strong foundation for future career development.

What You Will Be Doing

• Support the Account Business Manager with day-to-day customer and account activities.
• Coordinate customer requirements and help resolve service or delivery issues.
• Prepare customer reports, presentations, KPI reports and business updates.
• Maintain accurate customer, pricing, contract and other business information.
• Support forecasting, demand planning and business planning activities.
• Assist with customer onboarding and account administration.
• Support contract documentation and pricing updates.
• Work with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and Technical teams to meet customer needs.
• Review customer and operational data to identify trends or areas for improvement.
• Support customer engagement and continuous improvement activities.

What We Are Looking For

We are open to fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of experience.

You will ideally have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Engineering, Business, Commerce or a related field.
• A Mining Engineering background is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Good communication skills and confidence working with different people.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Good attention to detail and organisation skills.
• Willingness to learn and work across both commercial and operational activities.
• A Bachelor's degree from a well-regarded educational institution would be advantageous.

Nice to Have

You do not need to have all of these to apply:

• Exposure to mining, manufacturing or another industrial environment.
• Understanding of mining operations or drill and blast activities.
• Experience or academic exposure to SAP, ERP systems or Power BI.
• Exposure to reporting, forecasting or budgeting.
• Internship, project or academic experience involving data analysis.
• Customer service, sales support or commercial experience.
