- Data Cleaning & Wrangling: Proven ability to identify data anomalies, clean unstructured or messy datasets, validate data integrity, and establish repeatable data-cleansing procedures.
- Spreadsheet Modeling & Analytics: Advanced command of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (XLOOKUP, Index/Match, Pivot Tables, Power Query, dynamic arrays, and statistical functions) for rapid data prototyping and auditing.
- Statistical Analysis & Programming (Python/R): Practical exposure or foundational knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib/Seaborn) or R for statistical analysis, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and basic scripting.
- Business Acumen & Requirements Gathering: Capability to translate high-level business questions into technical analytical requirements and define actionable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Data Storytelling & Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex statistical trends, present data insights clearly, and tailor communications for non-technical stakeholders.
- Documentation & Data Governance: High attention to detail in documenting data dictionaries, report logic, metric definitions, and keeping internal reporting repositories well-organized.
- Professional Attributes: Curiosity to explore underlying data patterns, strong critical-thinking skills, adaptability to fast-paced environments, and a commitment to continuous learning.
