Position: Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) – Service & Field Operations

Department : IIOT Devices
Experience: Fresher / 0-1 year
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electrical Engineering. Electronics/[unclear] candidates preferred.

Job Purpose
To support installation, commissioning, field service and post-installation customer support for electronic and IoT-based products, ensuring smooth project execution and timely resolution of field issues.

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation & Commissioning

• Support installation and commissioning of electronic/IoT devices at customer sites
• Follow installation procedures and ensure proper device connectivity and functionality
• Assist senior engineers in site testing, configuration and commissioning
• Prepare installation and commissioning reports

2. Field Service & Troubleshooting

• Attend field-level technical issues and support timely resolution
• Perform basic troubleshooting of hardware, sensors, communication and power-related issues
• Coordinate with technical/R&D/software teams for issues requiring higher-level support
• Maintain records of service visits, issues and resolutions

3. Customer Support

• Coordinate professionally with customers during installation, commissioning and service activities
• Understand customer issues and provide first-level technical support
• Ensure customer issues are communicated and closed within the required timeline

4. Project & Operations Support

• Support project teams in deployment activities as per planned schedules
• Coordinate with operations, logistics and technical teams for site readiness
• Support material verification and dispatch readiness before site deployment
• Travel to customer/project locations as required

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits and electronic components
• Basic understanding of sensors, IoT devices, communication protocols or embedded systems is an advantage
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Good communication and customer-handling skills
• Basic MS Excel and reporting/documentation skills
• Willingness to travel extensively to customer/project sites

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Fresh graduate with an interest in field service, installation and technical operations
• Hands-on project experience (if any) in electronics, IoT, embedded systems, electrical systems or automation is preferred
• Comfortable working at customer sites and coordinating with different teams
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
