Graduate Exercise Physiologist 2027 Graduate Program

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a graduate Exercise Physiologist to join our dynamic team at Vitality Health & Rehab in Darwin, NT. Our graduate program, commencing January 2027 assists new graduates in the transition from university to clinical practice. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in helping our clients achieve their health and wellness goals through tailored exercise and rehabilitation programs.

Key responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand each client's unique needs and goals
• Designing and delivering evidence-based exercise and rehabilitation programs
• Monitoring client progress and adjusting programs as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers, such as physiotherapists and occupational therapists and rehabilitation consultants to provide a multidisciplinary approach to healthcare
• Educating clients and stakeholders on the importance of exercise and the role of exercise physiology
• Maintaining detailed records and through report writing to track patient progress and update stakeholders
• Conduct specialised group exercise classes such as Osteoporosis and Post Natal

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with the healthcare team
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to tailor programs to individual needs
• Passion for helping people improve their health and well-being
• Registered or eligible for registration with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA)
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
