Graduate Teaching Assistant (Speech & Language)

This is an exciting opportunity for graduates with a passion for young people with speech & language needs , looking to build a career in education or related fields. We are seeking top graduates to work with young people in primary schools, including special education and mental health education settings.

This opportunity offers an opportunity to work directly with young people within a unique school setting. You will be trained as a Learning Support Assistant, supporting young people who require additional support in school. This opportunity is particularly relevant for individuals aspiring to enter into a career in speech & language and education.

The schools available are based in Southampton and surrounding areas - all of these schools support a range of children, including those with complex learning needs such as autism, communication & sensory. We have several positions available to start from November 2026 onwards and you will be paid between £450-£500 per week, depending on your experience to date.

• Experience working with young people in either a volunteering or professional capacity
• Excellent ability to build connections with young people of all backgrounds
