What they need

Learn the Operation. Lead the Operation. Own the Operation.

At InPost, we’re redefining convenience. From smart lockers and industry-leading technology to the people and operations that keep millions of parcels moving, we’re changing how people send, collect, and receive parcels and we’re doing it at speed.

Behind every successful delivery is a great operation. That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for ambitious, curious, and resilient graduates who want to get stuck in, solve real problems and develop into the operational leaders of tomorrow.

This isn’t a graduate programme where you’ll watch from the sidelines. From day one, you’ll be in the operation, learning from the ground up and taking ownership as you develop.

Why Join InPost?

As a Graduate Trainee Operations Manager, you’ll gain hands-on experience across our parcel network, working alongside experienced operational leaders.

You’ll:

  • Run safe, productive depot operations.

  • Analyse performance, productivity, quality, and cost.

  • Solve operational problems and improve processes.

  • Develop your people leadership skills.

  • Work across Operations, Transport, Hubs, and other teams.

  • Understand how the entire parcel journey works.

You’ll take on real projects and increasing responsibility, with a clear pathway towards a future Operations Manager role.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Get hands-on – work alongside Shift Leaders, Duty Managers and Depot Managers across inbound, sort, outbound and last-mile operations.

  • Own performance – use data to understand what’s happening, identify issues and help turn insight into action.

  • Dare to Disrupt – challenge existing processes and work on improvement projects that increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.

  • Lead people – build experience through team briefings, performance conversations, and cross-functional working.

  • Champion the Customer – understand how operational decisions affect service, quality, and the customer experience.

  • Make It Happen – respond to changing priorities, solve problems and turn ideas into practical improvements.

  • Win Together – collaborate with colleagues across the network to deliver great results.

  • Develop your commercial understanding – learn how operational decisions impact cost, productivity, quality, and service.

What We Need from You:

You don’t need previous logistics or Operations Manager experience. We’ll teach you the operation and give you the opportunity to develop as a leader. We’re looking for graduates who:

  • Have a minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline.

  • You'll have graduated in the last 3 years in 2024, 2025 or 2026

  • Have a full UK driving licence.

  • Are willing to travel between operational locations.

  • Can work operational shifts, including early, late or weekend shifts where required.

  • Are confident working with data and learning new systems.

  • Take ownership and enjoy solving problems.

  • Communicate confidently and enjoy working with people.

  • Are resilient, adaptable, and curious.

  • Want to take responsibility and develop into a future operational leader.

We’d also love to see:

  • Experience or an interest in business, logistics, supply chain, engineering, operations, continuous improvement, Excel, Power BI or Lean, but these aren’t essential.

Don’t tick every box? Don’t worry. We’re looking for potential, curiosity and the willingness to learn.

Why InPost?

Over two years, you’ll:

  • Gain genuine hands-on operational experience.

  • Work with experienced operational leaders.

  • Take ownership of real responsibilities and projects.

  • Develop leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Gain experience across depots, hubs, transport and last-mile operations.

  • Build your commercial understanding of cost, productivity, quality, and service.

  • Challenge existing ways of working and Dare to Disrupt.

  • Take responsibility and Own It.

  • Put customers at the heart of your decisions.

  • Win Together with teams across the network.

  • Build the skills and experience to progress towards Operations Manager.

Ready to get stuck in? Apply now and start your journey towards becoming an Operations Manager with InPost.

At InPost, we love uniqueness. Our strength is our people. We strive to create an open, equal, inclusive environment in which everyone has the opportunity to flourish and be themselves.
