Grain Packing Plant Operator – Casual

MEDLOG is a global logistics and supply chain operator, specialising in container transport, intermodal logistics and warehouse storage and handling. We are seeking a casual Grain Packing Plant Operator to support our container packing operation at Yamala, near Emerald.

About the role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will help operate the plant used to pack grain into containers. You will work with the wider Yamala team to keep packing activities safe, efficient and well organised.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor grain packing equipment in line with training and site procedures
• Support the safe packing of grain into containers
• Complete routine equipment checks and report faults or operational issues promptly
• Follow product handling, housekeeping and site safety procedures
• Complete relevant packing records and paperwork
• Keep plant and work areas clean and orderly
• Communicate with loader, yard and transport staff to coordinate daily activities

About you

• Experience in grain handling, processing, packing or similar plant operations
• Ability to operate equipment safely and follow established procedures
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to complete operational records
• Reliable approach and ability to work well with an operations team
• A safety-focused attitude and right to work in Australia
