Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Grant Writer to identify funding opportunities, prepare compelling grant proposals, and secure funding from foundations, corporations, government agencies, and philanthropic organizations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful grant applications and fundraising for nonprofit organizations, preferably in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify grant opportunities from foundations, government agencies, corporations, and other funding sources.
• Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and funding applications.
• Develop persuasive narratives that clearly communicate the clinic's mission, programs, impact, and funding needs.
• Maintain a grant calendar and ensure timely submission of all applications and reports.
• Collaborate with leadership and program staff to gather data, budgets, and supporting documentation.
• Track grant outcomes, reporting requirements, and compliance deadlines.
• Build and maintain relationships with funders and philanthropic organizations.
• Assist with fundraising strategies and donor engagement initiatives.
• Monitor and report on grant performance and funding opportunities.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Grant Writer, Fundraising Specialist, or Development Professional.
• Demonstrated success in securing grants for nonprofit organizations.
• Excellent writing, editing, and research skills.
• Strong understanding of nonprofit fundraising and grant management.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Experience with healthcare, community health, or social service organizations is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
• Experience securing foundation, corporate, and government grants.
• Knowledge of nonprofit compliance and reporting requirements.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Number of grant applications submitted.
• Total grant funding secured.
• Success rate of submitted proposals.
• Number of new funding sources identified.
• Timely completion of grant reports and compliance requirements.

Compensation

Competitive salary/contract rate based on experience. Performance-based incentives may be considered for successful funding outcomes.
