Grant Writer

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Grant Writer to join our dedicated team. Your expertise in crafting compelling proposals, managing grant processes, and conducting thorough research will drive our success in obtaining grants from government agencies, foundations, and other funding bodies. Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and submit high-quality grant proposals tailored to funder guidelines and organizational needs
• Conduct comprehensive research on grant funding opportunities aligned with nonprofit community initiatives and program development goals
• Manage the entire grant lifecycle, including application submission, reporting, renewal processes, and compliance monitoring
• Maintain accurate records of grant applications, deadlines, budgets, and correspondence within databases such as Raiser's Edge or similar systems
• Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information for proposal case development and financial reports
• Edit and proofread proposals and supporting documents to ensure clarity, persuasiveness, and adherence to technical standards
• Assist in strategic planning efforts related to fundraising initiatives and grant management priorities

Experience

• Proven experience in grant proposal writing within nonprofit organizations or community-based settings
• Strong understanding of contract management, grant funding research, and grant case development processes
• Familiarity with databases such as Raiser's Edge or equivalent for tracking grants and donor information
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organizational skills
• Experience with nonprofit foundation work, government agency funding, and fundraising strategies within public sector contexts
• Skilled in technical writing, content editing, persuasive communication, and financial report writing
• Background in program development, strategic planning, budgeting, and project management related to grant activities
