We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Grant Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grant writing and fundraising, with the ability to conduct thorough research and develop compelling proposals. This role is crucial for securing funding to support our organization's mission and initiatives. The Grant Writer will collaborate with various departments to gather information and ensure that all proposals align with our strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and submit grant proposals to various funding sources.
• Conduct comprehensive research on potential grant opportunities and funders.
• Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary data and information for proposals.
• Maintain accurate records of grant submissions and deadlines using databases.
• Develop and implement strategic planning for grant applications.
• Ensure compliance with all grant requirements and reporting obligations.
• Assist in fundraising efforts by providing support in proposal development.
• Utilize Raiser’s Edge or similar software for tracking grants and donations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in grant writing, including successful submissions.
• Strong technical writing skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Excellent research skills to identify funding opportunities relevant to our organization.
• Familiarity with fundraising principles and practices.
• Experience in editing documents for clarity, accuracy, and impact.
• Proficient in using databases for tracking grants and managing information.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A strategic thinker who can align grant proposals with organizational goals.

Experience:

• Fundraising: 1 year (Required)
• Grant writing: 1 year (Required)
