About the role

Marrybrown Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Graphic & Multimedia Designer to join our Marketing & Communications team. This is a full-time position based in Johor Bahru, Johor. In this role, we are looking for a creative, passionate, and detail-oriented Graphic & Multimedia Designer to join our Creative team. You will be responsible for developing engaging visual content for our marketing campaigns, social media, digital platforms, and restaurant outlets.

You will work closely with the Marketing, Creative, Operations, and other relevant teams to bring campaign ideas to life and ensure all visual materials are aligned with our brand guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and visual designs for marketing campaigns, promotions, new product launches and seasonal campaigns.
• Create motion graphics, short videos, reels and other multimedia content for social media and digital platforms.
• Adapt and resize artwork according to different platforms and POSM requirements.
• Work on photo editing, retouching and compositing for food and product visuals.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative ideas based on campaign objectives and target audiences.
• Ensure all artwork follows brand guidelines, design standards and campaign requirements.
• Liaise with printers, production vendors and external agencies when required.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while ensuring artwork is delivered accurately and on time.
• Stay updated with design trends, social media trends, Gen Z trends and F&B creative trends.
• Support in photoshoots, video shoots and other creative productions when required.
• Perform other creative and design-related tasks as assigned.

What we're looking for:

• Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Communication, Creative Multimedia or a related field.

• 2 years of experience in graphic design, multimedia or a related creative role. Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply.

• Proficient in design software such as:

  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects for video and motion graphics
  • Adobe InDesign is an added advantage

• Knowledge of Canva, CapCut or other digital creative tools is an advantage.

• Good understanding of typography, layout, colour, composition and visual hierarchy.

• Basic knowledge of video editing, motion graphics and social media content creation.

• Experience in F&B, retail, FMCG or consumer brands is an added advantage.

• Strong creative thinking and ability to translate ideas into attractive visuals.

• Good attention to detail and able to follow brand guidelines.

• Able to work independently as well as collaborate with a team.

• Good time management and able to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.

• Willing to learn, explore new creative trends and experiment with new ideas.

• Portfolio is required.

• Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred

• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage.
