Graphic Design Intern

About the Role

Based in Portsmouth, NH, Consumer Focus is a unique B2B product-service marketing company that specializes in providing digital, web, and print services to businesses in the energy industry. We're looking for a creative and motivated Graphic Design Intern to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a design student or recent graduate who wants hands-on experience creating engaging visual content for social media platforms. You'll work closely with our marketing team to bring campaigns, posts, and brand visuals to life.

Responsibilities

· Design graphics for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.), including posts, stories, reels, covers, and carousels

· Create and edit visual content using Canva and Adobe Illustrator

· Use AI-powered design tools/features to speed up ideation, generate design variations, and enhance creative output.

· Maintain brand consistency across all visual materials

· Collaborate with the marketing team to create and edit content and campaign visuals

· Resize and adapt existing designs for different platforms and formats

· Stay current on social media design trends and best practices

· Organize and manage design files and assets

Qualifications

· Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/certificate in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field

· Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Illustrator required

· Familiarity with AI design tools/features (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Canva AI, Gemini, or similar) is a strong plus

· Working knowledge of other Adobe Suite Products (Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, and SharePoint).

· Ability to take feedback and execute artistic direction/feedback

· Strong organizational skills, including file management

· Detail oriented and able to independently evaluate work for accuracy and adherence to established design criteria

· Self-motivated with good time management skills

· Basic understanding of social media platform specs and best practices a plus

Details

· Part-time, 10-20 hours per week

· Hybrid (Remote and In-office) — Portsmouth, NH

· Paid hourly rate of $15/hr
