About the role

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Graphic Design Intern to join our creative team on a full-time basis in Kuala Lumpur. This is an excellent opportunity for a design-focused individual to gain practical experience in the jewellery and design industry whilst contributing to meaningful projects. As a Graphic Design Intern, you will work alongside our experienced designers to develop visual content, marketing materials, and creative assets that showcase our jewellery collections. This role will provide invaluable insight into professional graphic design practices within the luxury goods sector.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating visual designs for marketing materials, including brochures, catalogues, social media content, and promotional graphics

• Develop and refine jewellery product illustrations and digital representations

• Support the design team in conceptualising and executing creative campaigns

• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure brand consistency across all visual communications

• Maintain and organize design files and assets in accordance with company standards

• Conduct research on design trends and competitor visual strategies relevant to the jewellery industry

What we're looking for

• Currently studying or recently graduated with a qualification in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or a related discipline
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent tools
• Strong visual communication skills with the ability to translate concepts into compelling designs
• A keen eye for detail, colour theory, typography, and layout composition
• Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas for visual content
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to learn and adapt to feedback in a collaborative team environment
• Basic understanding of branding principles and marketing design
• Portfolio or samples of previous design work demonstrating your design capabilities and style
• Familiarity with jewellery design or luxury goods branding is advantageous but not essential
