Graphic Designer Cake Decorator

Key Responsibilities:

• Create customized cake designs based on customer preferences and requirements.
• Design creative artwork for cakes, including birthdays, weddings, corporate events, and special occasions.
• Prepare and print high-quality, print-ready cake designs.
• Coordinate closely with the Cake Chef to ensure the approved design is accurately applied to the cake.
• Make necessary design revisions based on customer or Management feedback.
• Ensure all designs are completed accurately and within the required deadlines.
• Manage multiple cake design orders efficiently.
• Maintain design files and approved customer artwork properly.
• Ensure design accuracy, color quality, and print quality before releasing the final design for production.
• Create mock-ups and visual presentations for customer confirmation and Management approval when required.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio focused on packaging.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); knowledge of 3D rendering tools (e.g., Dimension, Cinema 4D) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of print processes, materials, and packaging mechanics.
• Strong eye for detail, typography, color theory, and layout.
• Ability to take creative direction and translate brand values into compelling packaging solutions.
• Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with sustainable and eco-friendly packaging solutions.
• Experience in cake design or the food and confectionery industry will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, typography, colors, layouts, and image editing.
