About the role

VALUEHOME FURNITURE TRADING is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic design team. This is a full-time position based in Davao City, Davao del Sur. As a Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating visually compelling designs that communicate our brand message, enhance customer engagement, and support our furniture business objectives. You will work collaboratively with marketing, product, and sales teams to develop design solutions that drive brand recognition and sales performance.

Key responsibilities

• Create visually appealing graphics, layouts, and designs for marketing materials, including brochures, catalogues, social media content, and advertisements
• Develop and maintain consistent brand identity across all design projects and marketing channels
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to understand design requirements and translate concepts into compelling visual solutions
• Design product packaging, labels, and point-of-sale materials that attract customers and communicate product value
• Produce digital assets for website, e-commerce platforms, and digital marketing campaigns
• Edit and retouch photographs and images for marketing and promotional use
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines whilst maintaining high-quality standards
• Stay current with design trends, software updates, and industry best practices
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and revise designs to meet project objectives

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or in a similar creative role, ideally within retail, furniture, or e-commerce industries
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), CorelDRAW, or equivalent applications
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design work, including print and digital projects
• Excellent understanding of design principles, colour theory, typography, and layout composition
• Ability to work with both vector and raster graphics effectively
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering polished, error-free designs
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with web design, UI/UX principles, and social media design requirements
• Knowledge of print production processes and file preparation for printing is advantageous
