Graphic Designer

Role Description The Graphic Designer role is a part-time remote position focused on supporting the association’s visual communication needs. Day-to-day tasks include creating and adapting graphics for digital and print materials, designing logos and visual assets for programs and events, and developing branding elements that align with the association’s mission and initiatives. The Graphic Designer will collaborate with education, training, and communications teams to produce layouts for presentations, social media content, promotional materials, and public relations campaigns. Responsibilities also include ensuring consistent use of typography and brand guidelines, preparing files for publication, and refining designs based on feedback from stakeholders. The role requires proactive communication in a remote setting and the ability to manage multiple design projects with agreed timelines.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with experience creating visual assets for educational or professional development contexts.
• Proficiency in Logo Design and Branding, including developing and maintaining cohesive visual identities across programs and events.
• Solid understanding of Typography and layout principles for both digital and print materials.
• Practical experience with industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or equivalent tools).
• Ability to interpret briefs, translate concepts into clear visuals, and work collaboratively with remote, multidisciplinary teams.
• Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple part-time projects and meet deadlines.
• Relevant education or training in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field is preferred.
• Previous experience designing materials for NGOs, educational organizations, or professional associations is an advantage.
