The Opportunity

Join our creative team as a Graphic Designer specialising in pagemaking and print design. You will create visually engaging layouts that enhance storytelling across newspapers, magazines, tabloids, mailers, and other print formats. Working closely with editorial, content, and production teams, you will transform briefs into impactful visual experiences while ensuring design quality, accuracy, and adherence to print production standards. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to some of India's most recognised media brands while staying at the forefront of evolving design trends and technologies.

What You Will Do

• Design and produce high-quality page layouts for newspapers, magazines, tabloids, supplements, and marketing collateral.
• Convert editorial and content briefs into compelling visual concepts that improve reader engagement.
• Create and edit graphics, illustrations, image treatments, and visual elements aligned with brand guidelines.
• Prepare print-ready artwork, ensuring accuracy in colour, typography, and production specifications.
• Collaborate with editorial and production teams to deliver layouts within deadlines.
• Manage multiple design assignments simultaneously while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Utilise AI-powered design tools and emerging technologies to enhance creative output and efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends, visual design best practices, and print publishing standards.

What You Bring

Must-Have

• 3-5 years of experience in graphic design, pagemaking, print publishing, or a related creative field.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and CorelDRAW.
• Good understanding of print production processes, including pre-press, colour correction, and file preparation.
• Ability to independently manage design projects from concept to final output.
• Strong visual design, typography, and layout skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred

• Experience in newspaper, magazine, publishing, or media organisations.
• Familiarity with AI-based design and creative productivity tools.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong print design and editorial layout work.

Education

Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related discipline. Equivalent relevant experience and a strong design portfolio will also be considered.
