Job Summary

Swan Canada, a leading Canadian wall décor and interior design products company, is looking for a creative, talented, and detail-oriented Graphic Designer, Social Media Assistant & Professional Photographer to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in graphic design, professional photography, videography, video editing, and social media content creation. You will be responsible for producing high-quality visual content that showcases our products, strengthens our brand identity, and supports our digital marketing campaigns.

We are looking for someone with a strong creative eye, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to independently transform ideas into professional, engaging content.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Branding

• Design professional promotional posters, advertisements, banners, brochures, catalogues, and digital marketing materials.
• Create high-quality social media graphics, product advertisements, and promotional campaigns.
• Maintain consistent branding, including logos, colours, typography, and visual identity.
• Develop creative product presentations, interior design visuals, and marketing concepts.
• Edit and enhance product images while maintaining accurate colours, textures, dimensions, and product details.
• Prepare professional graphics for website banners, Shopify product listings, and print materials.

Professional Photography & Videography

• Capture high-quality product photography, showroom displays, and interior design installations.
• Produce professional promotional videos, Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, and other short-form content.
• Manage lighting, camera positioning, composition, and product styling.
• Professionally edit photographs and videos, including colour correction, retouching, transitions, and audio.
• Create engaging videos that highlight product features, textures, finishes, and installation applications.
• Organize and maintain a professional library of product photos, videos, and marketing assets.

Social Media & Digital Marketing

• Assist in managing Swan Canada's social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.
• Develop and schedule engaging daily and weekly social media content.
• Create Instagram Stories, Reels, promotional posts, and marketing campaigns.
• Write engaging captions and assist with hashtags and content planning.
• Monitor social media trends and recommend creative ideas to improve brand visibility and engagement.
• Collaborate with management to promote new products, special offers, and company announcements.
• Assist with social media advertising creatives and marketing campaigns.

Website & E-Commerce Content

• Create and update product photography, banners, and promotional content for our Shopify website.
• Assist with product presentations and visual improvements to enhance the online shopping experience.
• Ensure product images accurately represent the actual merchandise.
• Support creative website projects and improvements to visual content.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in graphic design, photography, videography, or social media content creation.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
• Professional photography skills, including experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras, lighting, and studio photography.
• Proven experience producing and editing high-quality videos and social media Reels.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and digital marketing trends.
• Experience using Canva, CapCut, Lightroom, or After Effects is an asset.
• Experience with Shopify and e-commerce product photography is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI-powered creative and design tools is an asset.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour correction, lighting, and visual composition.
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly when representing actual product colours, textures, and specifications.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication, organization, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Experience in interior design, home décor, furniture, construction materials, or retail marketing is an asset.
