Job Description

Full-Time Graphic Designer. 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday. May need to occasionally work overtime depending on work flow. This is a salary position, with the pay range of $50,000-$70,000 a year depending on experience and skillset.

This position will require a large variety of graphic design work, which includes preparing detailed memorial renderings for customer approval and preparing and uploading web-ready product images by utilizing proficient Illustrator and Photoshop skills. Two other graphic designers will work under your supervision and rely on you to answer design questions, look over their renderings, and support your role as the Team Leader. You will also learn how to prepare and cut stencil for sandblasted designs, how to operate a laser-etching machine, and many other industry-related skills.

Will work closely with other designers, sales people and team members to reach a cohesive design.

This is an unusually interesting job and you will never get bored – we work on a large variety of designs everyday.

Skills

• Must have Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design.
• Must have knowledge of design, experience in typography and composition.
• Possess an extensive, varied portfolio with a variety of applications and mediums. Well-rounded artist showing fine art and graphic design skills.
• Demonstrate hands-on skills in the latest Adobe Creative Suite, mainly Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Have the ability to manage multiple projects and remain flexible through multiple revisions while keeping a keen attention to detail.
• Possess a good understanding of multimedia design and experience building files for both print and digital.
• Experience posting to company website and social media accounts like Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram.
• Would be a plus to have an interest in architecture, 3D design, packaging design, puzzles and problem solving.
• Proofing skills are very necessary.
• Website design or development skills are a plus.
• 2 years career experience is a plus.

Work Location:

West Memorials (1212 University Street, Memphis, TN 38018). You must have reliable means of transportation/commute to travel to and from work.

Pay Frequency:

Bi-Weekly (Twice a Month)
