What they need
About the Role:
Dokitami is looking for a Graphic Designer / UI/UX Designer who can combine strong visual design with user-centred thinking to create professional, engaging, and conversion-focused experiences across our digital and marketing channels.
This role is responsible for translating Dokitami's brand, marketing objectives, products, services, and digital experiences into high-quality visual assets and intuitive user experiences.
You will work across graphic design, advertising creatives, social media, websites, landing pages, UI/UX, dashboards, digital products, presentations, and other branded materials.
We are looking for someone who understands that great design is not simply about making something look good. It should communicate clearly, support the brand, improve user experience, and drive the intended action.
Key ResponsibilitiesGraphic Design & Creative Production:
- Create high-quality visual assets for digital and print channels.
- Design advertising creatives for Meta, Instagram, Facebook, retargeting campaigns, and other platforms.
- Create social media graphics, promotional materials, campaign assets, email graphics, blog graphics, and YouTube thumbnails.
- Design flyers, posters, brochures, banners, presentations, branded PDFs, and other marketing materials.
- Create website banners, product graphics, recruitment graphics, event materials, and internal company materials.
- Develop multiple creative variations for testing different layouts, headlines, images, CTAs, visual treatments, and formats.
- Ensure all designs are aligned with Dokitami's approved visual identity and brand guidelines.
UI/UX Design:
- Design intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences for:
- Websites
- Landing pages
- Sales funnels
- Lead-generation forms
- Client portals
- Partner portals
- Dashboards
- Internal systems
- Assessment flows
- Mobile interfaces
- Digital products
- Develop user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI designs, and prototypes where appropriate.
- Design experiences that make the user's next action clear and easy.
- Consider usability, accessibility, mobile responsiveness, navigation, information hierarchy, and conversion throughout the design process.
- Support landing-page design with strong hero sections, clear messaging, CTAs, social proof, benefits, FAQs, testimonials, and conversion-focused layouts.
Brand Management:
- Act as a custodian of Dokitami's visual identity.
- Maintain consistency in colours, typography, logo usage, layout, photography, illustration, icons, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
- Ensure designs are recognisable as Dokitami while still allowing creative variety.
- Maintain organised master copies of approved logos, templates, design assets, and brand materials.
- Apply Dokitami's approved navy blue and green brand identity consistently.
Performance & Conversion-Focused Design:
- Design with the target audience, marketing angle, hook, headline, offer, CTA, platform, placement, and campaign objective in mind.
- Create designs that immediately communicate the primary message.
- Review relevant performance metrics such as CTR, CPL, landing-page conversion, form completion, user feedback, and lead quality.
- Use performance insights to improve future creative and design decisions.
- Develop design variations for testing and optimisation.
- Understand that a visually attractive design is not successful if it consistently fails to achieve its intended business objective.
UI/UX Research & Optimisation:
- Understand who is using a product or interface and what they are trying to accomplish.
- Identify user pain points, confusion, unnecessary steps, and opportunities to simplify the experience.
- Use user behaviour and feedback to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes and prototypes for larger UI/UX projects.
- Maintain reusable components and design systems.
- Conduct design QA after development to ensure the final implementation matches the approved design.
Collaboration:
You will work closely with:
- Creative Leadership
- Copywriters
- Video Editors
- Content Creators
- Medical Communications
- Media Buying
- Sales & Communication
- Business Development & Partnerships
- Operations
- Web Developers
- Management
You will be expected to communicate clearly, respond to feedback professionally, and ensure design work does not become a bottleneck for other teams.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, UI/UX Designer, Visual Designer, Product Designer, or similar role.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both graphic design and UI/UX capabilities.
- Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, layout, colour, spacing, and composition.
- Experience creating digital advertising and social media creatives.
- Experience designing websites, landing pages, forms, dashboards, or digital interfaces.
- Strong understanding of user experience and user behaviour.
- Experience with design systems, reusable components, and responsive design.
- Ability to design for mobile-first experiences.
- Ability to translate a brief into a clear and effective visual solution.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work quickly and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Willingness to receive feedback and make revisions promptly.
Design Tools:
Experience with tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, or other professional design platforms is expected.
For UI/UX projects, the ability to organise Figma files properly, create components, prototypes, responsive designs, and developer-ready handoffs is highly valuable.
Preferred Qualities:
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly creative
- Detail-oriented
- Organised
- Fast and execution-focused
- Commercially minded
- User-focused
- Comfortable working independently
- Proactive and accountable
- Open to feedback
- Strong in visual problem-solving
- Able to balance aesthetics with usability and conversion
- Committed to maintaining brand consistency
- Continuously improving their design skills
Healthcare & Medical Design Responsibility:
Because Dokitami operates in the healthcare space, the Designer must ensure that medical and healthcare-related visuals are accurate, professional, and appropriately presented.
Designs must not create misleading medical impressions, hide important information, or misrepresent medical information. Required disclaimers must be visible where applicable, and clinical materials should be routed for review when required.
AI & Design Tools:
AI tools may be used to support ideation, mood boards, image generation, concept development, background creation, asset generation, and experimentation.
However, AI-generated assets must be reviewed for accuracy, quality, brand consistency, visual errors, misleading medical imagery, and commercial suitability. AI is a tool to enhance creativity—not a replacement for professional design judgement.
What Success Looks Like:
A successful Graphic Designer / UI/UX Designer at Dokitami understands:
Brand + Marketing + Communication + User Behaviour + Conversion + Technology + Execution
You will be successful when you can:
- Turn ideas and briefs into professional visual solutions.
- Create advertising creatives that capture attention.
- Design landing pages that guide users toward conversion.
- Create dashboards and interfaces that simplify information.
- Maintain a consistent Dokitami brand across platforms.
- Deliver high-quality work quickly and reliably.
- Use feedback and performance data to continuously improve.
- Own the design process from brief through implementation—not simply the design file.
Work Arrangement:
This is a fully remote position. The employee is expected to maintain reliable internet access, appropriate work equipment, and a suitable remote working environment.
The Designer must remain available, responsive, and actively working during designated company working hours. Remote work does not reduce expectations regarding attendance, communication, productivity, deadlines, meeting attendance, quality, or accountability.
Compensation:
Total Monthly Compensation: ₦350,000
- Base Salary: ₦300,000
- Work Support Allowance: ₦50,000
The Work Support Allowance is a fixed monthly allowance intended to support remote work-related expenses, including internet and mobile data, communication, software and digital tools, computer/work accessories, and other incidental work expenses.

- Portfolio showcasing both graphic design and UI/UX work
- Examples of advertising creatives, social media designs, landing pages, websites, dashboards, or digital products where available
