Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Muscat for a Graphics Designer & Video Shooter. The role involves designing visual assets for digital and print channels, including social media graphics, marketing materials, and brand collateral. The team member will plan, shoot, and edit video content for campaigns, product launches, and brand stories, ensuring alignment with Transsion’s visual standards. Daily tasks include collaborating with marketing and product teams, developing creative concepts, adapting global brand guidelines to local market needs, and preparing final files optimized for various platforms. The role also requires maintaining organized asset libraries and staying updated on design and video trends relevant to consumer electronics and mobile brands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree holder is required and local available to start immediately.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and video tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent).
• Strong creative thinking with an impressive design portfolio.
• Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design for digital and print materials.
• Demonstrated ability to shoot and edit video, including basic lighting, framing, and audio considerations.
• Passionate about design, technology, and digital content.
• Good understanding of local culture, trends, and social media aesthetics.
• Able to work independently with a strong sense of ownership.
• Experience in social media content design (TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, X, etc.) is preferred.
• Experience designing for consumer electronics or technology brands is a plus .
• Proficient in AI-powered design tools (e.g. Midjourney, ChatGPT, Firefly, Kling, etc.) as well as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.)
• Able to communicate in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with a portfolio demonstrating creative and effective visual communication.
• Experience in Logo Design and Branding to develop and refine brand identities across multiple products and markets.
• Proficiency in Typography and layout design, ensuring clear, legible, and visually appealing content.
• Ability to use industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent) and prepare assets for digital and print production.
• Relevant education in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
• Familiarity with mobile, consumer electronics, or technology brands is an advantage, as is experience designing for emerging markets.
