Qualifications

Required

• 3-5 years of hands-on GraphTalk development experience, preferably with distribution and/or commission modules.
• Knowledge of intermediary and agent hierarchies and distribution structures.
• Familiarity with commission schemes, rates, incentives, clawbacks, bonuses, and statements.
• Ability to translate complex business rules into technical solutions and develop and troubleshoot calculation logic.
• Understanding of insurance processes across life and/or non-life environments preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Oracle SQL for data analysis, reporting, and calculation validation.
• Financial data reconciliation skills.
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles, including commission-related accounting postings.
• Proficiency in commission and payment calculations and financial formulas.

Soft Skills

• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Critical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Clear communication and documentation skills.
• Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Alternative Profiles Considered

• Development experience with commission management systems, incentive management platforms, distribution modules within other insurance core platforms, or insurance systems involving complex financial calculations and business rules.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, maintain, and enhance GraphTalk distribution and commission functionality.
• Support intermediary and agent hierarchy structures.
• Develop and maintain commission schemes, rates, and calculation rules.
• Support commission clawbacks, bonuses, statements, and related processes.
• Develop and maintain reports associated with distribution and commission processes.
• Support commission-related accounting postings and financial reconciliation.
• Analyze and troubleshoot calculation errors and data discrepancies.
• Use Oracle SQL to analyze data and validate commission calculations.
• Translate complex business rules into scalable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with business, functional, finance, and technical stakeholders.
• Participate in testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
