Green Coffee Sales Associate

About us

Orchard Gate is a small coffee company in Brentwood, TN. We work with farms in India and supply their green coffee to specialty roasters across the US. Indian coffee is still new to many roasters here, so a big part of this job is getting it in front of them.

What you'll do

• Research roasters that would be a good fit for our coffees
• Reach out by email and phone to introduce Orchard Gate and pitch our beans
• Follow up with interested roasters and answer questions about pricing, availability, and the coffees
• Coordinate samples and help turn conversations into orders
• Keep track of leads and conversations
• Visit local roasters and attend cuppings or coffee events now and then

What we're looking for

• Confident reaching out to new people by email and phone
• Clear communicator who follows up and stays organized
• Able to work independently and keep things moving
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (the job is in our Brentwood office, with occasional local visits)
• Interest in coffee is a big plus. Sales experience helps, but we'll train the right person.

Pay: Hourly, no commission.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
