Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Greeter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This role is essential in ensuring that guests feel valued and attended to from the moment they arrive. The Greeter will work closely with the front-of-house staff to facilitate smooth operations and enhance the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly as they enter the establishment, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
• Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the entrance area.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS or Micros POS, for managing guest orders when necessary.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host/host or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
• Background in food service or restaurant environments is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest relations.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS or Micros POS, is a plus.
• Experience in hotel or guest services can enhance your candidacy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
