€110,000 - €125,000 per annum + annual bonus

Our client, a fast-growing energy storage platform, is seeking a Grid Compliance Manager to join their growing team in Germany. Key Responsibilities:

• Proven experience managing grid compliance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to German grid connection requirements and applicable regulations.
• Strong technical understanding of grid compliance, including reviewing grid studies, technical documentation, design deliverables and connection agreements.
• Experience liaising directly with German TSOs and DSOs, managing technical queries and coordinating stakeholders to secure grid connection approvals.
• Experience overseeing grid compliance testing and commissioning, ensuring all technical requirements are met ahead of energisation and handover.
• Ability to manage external consultants, coordinate compliance deliverables, maintain risk registers and report on project progress and technical risks.

Experience & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in grid compliance for utility-scale renewable energy projects (wind, solar, storage is preferred).
• Strong knowledge of German grid connection regulations and compliance requirements (VDE-AR-N 4110, 4120, 4130).
• Experience liaising with TSOs, DSOs and certification bodies.
• Experience managing grid compliance studies, plant certification, technical documentation and grid compliance testing through to commissioning and energisation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across engineering teams, external consultants and network operators.
• Relevant degree or professional qualification in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy or a related field.
• Fluent German and English are essential.
