Grid Simulation Expert

On behalf of Huawei, a world-renowned it and communications company, we are looking for Grid Simulation Expert talents for Solution Sales.

This role serves as the grid simulation technical expert for Huawei's solar & energy storage business across Latin America. You will engage with customer power planning teams, utility companies and third-party certification authorities (TA) at executive and technical levels, independently deliver grid simulation studies and grid connection compliance for utility-scale & C&I solar-storage, microgrid and hybrid energy projects. You will also collaborate with headquarters product and R&D teams to align technical solutions and build regional simulation capabilities, to support business growth and project delivery across Latin America.

Job Requirements & Professional Knowledge:

1、Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power System Automation or related majors; Master’s degree preferred.

2、Experience:

Senior Engineer: 3+ years of relevant experience in power system simulation for new energy / energy storage.

Expert: 5+ years of relevant experience; overseas power project or grid-side energy storage experience is a strong plus.

3、Technical Skills:

Proven track record in grid connection simulation and verification for distributed PV, energy storage power plants and microgrids; experience in grid-forming storage, virtual inertia and power system stability is highly preferred.

4、Language: fluent English (listening, speaking, reading, writing) capable of executive-level technical communication and professional report writing; Spanish is a strong plus.
