Grill Chef

Within a small independent East London pub group, The Leytonstone Tavern is a neighbourhood pub.

The menu is serving award winning burgers, tacos and sides for lunch, brunch, dinner or even a Sunday roast. Focusing on a regularly changing seasonal menu, where possible using locally and sustainably sourced ingredients, all served in its sizeable and refurbished outside area & dining room.

We host a lot of exciting events too, both internally and externally, including wedding, birthdays, music festivals, F1 racing and food & drink events.

We are looking for Chefs who are keen to progress and able to take on responsibility within a growing team, whilst supporting the award winning executive chef and his team.

Skills we are looking for

• 3+ years of suitable experience preferred
• Ability to cook fresh food, to order
• Baking and butchery skills necessary
• Capable of working in a busy gastro pub environment
• Right attitude and desire to learn
• Able to be supportive to both the head chef and FOH management team
• Enjoys the rewards of great honest food

Salary negotiable, depending on experience. Self-employed invoicing option available.
