Grill Chef

Overview

Join our team at Dionysus, a local favourite Greek restaurant in Southgate. We’re seeking an experienced Grill Chef who is confident working in a busy kitchen and passionate about preparing high-quality food. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Working Days: Fridays & Saturdays are a must. Service ends at 11pm on these days. We are closed on Sundays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook dishes on the barbecue to a consistently high standard.
• Ensure correct cooking times, temperatures and presentation.
• Prepare ingredients and maintain an organised workstation.
• Work closely with the wider kitchen team during busy services.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene, cleanliness and safety standards.
• Help ensure consistency and quality across every service.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Grill Chef or in a similar kitchen role is essential, specifically using a barbecue.
• Confident working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen practices.
• Reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team.

What We Offer: £14–£20 per hour including tips, full-time or part-time positions, a friendly and supportive team environment, free food while on shift and the opportunity to take home leftovers.

Pay: £14.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
