WE'RE LOOKING FOR A GRILL COOK WHO BRINGS THE HEAT

The Indie is looking for a Grill Cook to join our kitchen team!

We're not looking for someone who just wants to punch a clock. We're looking for someone who takes pride in what comes out of their window, works well under pressure, and understands that great food is a huge part of great hospitality.

As a Grill Cook, you'll be responsible for preparing and executing menu items to our standards while working closely with the entire kitchen and front-of-house team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines
• Work the grill station efficiently and confidently during busy service
• Maintain consistent food quality, temperature, timing, and presentation
• Keep your station stocked, clean, organized, and ready for service
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen team and FOH during service
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures
• Assist with prep, receiving, stocking, and other kitchen duties as needed
• Help maintain a positive, respectful, team-first kitchen environment
• Step in wherever you're needed — we win as a team

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You might be a great fit if you:

• Have previous grill or line-cook experience
• Can stay calm and focused during a busy service
• Take pride in consistency and attention to detail
• Understand the importance of timing and communication
• Show up on time, ready to work, and ready to contribute
• Are comfortable receiving feedback and learning new techniques
• Believe cleaning and organization are part of the job — not something you do when you're finished
• Bring a positive attitude and treat your teammates with respect

Experience is preferred, but attitude matters just as much. If you're hardworking, dependable, and eager to learn, we want to meet you.
