Grill Cook

We are looking for a fast, reliable Grill Cook (Planchero) to lead our hot station. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality meats, veggies, and tortillas on the flat top grill, and keeping the line flowing smoothly during high-volume rushes.

Key Responsibilities

• Grill Operation: Prepare carne asada, pollo, al pastor, carnitas, and grilled vegetables to specific recipes and temp standards.
• Prep & Station Setup: Set up, restock, and maintain the grill station; chop meats, and ensure fresh ingredients are ready for service.
• Order Execution: Read ticket orders quickly, assemble taco fillings, warm/toast tortillas to target texture.
• Food Safety & Hygiene: Monitor internal meat temperatures using food thermometers; follow FIFO (First In, First Out) rules and local health code guidelines.
• Station Cleanliness: Clean and degrease flat tops, grills, hood vents, and tools throughout shift and complete end-of-day kitchen breakdown.

Pay: $13.50 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
