Duties

• Prepare and cook grilled dishes such as steaks, burgers, seafood, and vegetables with precision and consistency.
• Follow established recipes and menu specifications to ensure quality and presentation standards are met.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, ovens, and food preparation tools.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the grill station in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures.
• Monitor food production levels to meet high-volume demands while maintaining quality control.
• Adhere strictly to food safety management practices, including proper food handling, storage, and temperature controls.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours.

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or catering environment, especially with grilling techniques.
• Experience with food safety sanitizing procedures and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Knowledge of menu planning and recipe adherence to ensure consistency across dishes.
• Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent food handling skills combined with a solid understanding of the food industry standards.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail.
• Enthusiastic team player committed to delivering exceptional food service experiences.
