Grill Cook

Overview

Matty G's Steakburgers is looking for a motivated and reliable Cook to join our Eagle crew We need someone who takes pride in their work, moves fast under pressure, and helps keep our kitchen operating at top standards. The right candidate will be reliable, consistent, clean, and care about our great food.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items according to Matty G's standards — consistent quality, correct build, and proper portioning
• Maintain a clean and organized line, including daily side work and deep-clean extras when assigned
• Communicate clearly with teammates to keep ticket times fast and smooth
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures — proper labeling, storage, and temperature checks
• Ensure all items are stocked, labeled, and ready before and after each shift
• Take pride in food presentation — every menu item should represent the Matty G's quality
• Assist with prep work, restocking, and organizing walk-in and line areas as needed
• Support other team members and keep a positive, professional attitude — even when it’s busy

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a line cook or fast-paced kitchen position required (burger or grill experience is a plus)
• Strong multitasking and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to work hard — especially during busy rushes
• Knowledge of basic food safety, sanitation, and cross-contamination prevention
• Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
