We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a focus on grilling techniques. The Grill Cook will work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and exceptional service.

Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of grilled foods, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan menus that align with dietary needs and preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding areas, adhering to food safety standards.
• Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain health and safety regulations.
• Participate in meal preparation for catering events or special occasions as required.
• Assist in training new kitchen staff on grilling techniques and kitchen procedures.

Skills

• Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in grilling or fine dining settings.
• Strong culinary skills, including knife skills, food preparation, and cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Experience with menu planning and catering is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
